If you have mechanical savvy, you can replace the cable yourself, otherwise take it to the Ford dealer to replace it. I replaced the quadrant and cable on my Nephew's 02 GT with an adjustable one you can adjust from the firewall and it was kinda neat to be able to adjust his clutch cable to meet his leg needs. Yeah, the billet aluminum one is the ticket.

The street is no place to "show off." Too many things can happen, and most of them are bad. If you have seen movies like "Fast and Furious" erase them from your mind. They are just movies.

You guys are mixing apples with oranges. A Mustang is not a commuter car, but an American icon cheap and fast sports car. The Ford and Chevy 4 cylinder versions would be commuter cars, and the Toyota, Honda and Nissan 4 bangers would be the typical foreign commuter car. Given the choice between the Ford, Chevy and Toyota, Honda or Nissan, I would choose the foreign made models every time. ...

None of you guys have the corner on good wines. Texas vineyards make some of the smoothest and best tasting wine in the world. I drove my 65 Mustang to a vineyard near my home a few days ago and tasted some of the smoothest reds I have ever tasted. (You notice I drive my Mustang to justify this message?) Oh wait....I am one of the moderators, so what am I worried about?
